摘要：词汇是语言的建筑基石和语言意义的载体，它维系着人类的思维活动。语言若离开的了词汇，就无所谓语言。掌握一定的词汇亮是阅读能力的主要标志之一。在很大的程度上，词汇量的大小直接影响着阅读理解的效果。在英语教学中需要激发学生学习词汇的兴趣，提高习效率和教学效果。阅读是英语教学及学习中的一个重要环节，也是一项综合技能，它能够促进词汇积累，培养语感，提高表达能力。所以我们要提高学生的阅读能力，以丰富学生的词汇量。
